I have done several research comparing the wireless doorbells before I decided to buy this one. I bought this wireless doorbell chime because it had some nice features that I can set the volume at my own level (low, medium, or high). Beside that, I can set the ring tone (sound, light, or sound + light). The receiver used 2 AA battery and the transmitter used one 12V battery. It also came with a stand that I can set it on the table or on the shelf. It is very compact and useful. I just set it on top of my shelf and this doorbell is very easy to operate. I can change the new code if I like. Anyway, I really loved this doorbell.

The doorbell for my apartment was broken for over a year. I kept missing my UPS Amazon.com deliveries and had to go to the depot to pick them up! What a drag. Anyway, tired of waiting for the realty company to fix the doorbell and searched Amazon.com for the answer. I usually find what I need here and this doorbell is perfect. It has 3 frequency settings, so that if someone else in the building buys the same unit, I can change the frequency. The doorbell attaches with screws, so it cannot be easily removed. The receiver can be moved to wherever you are (not that I have such a big place, but it's handy) and you can adjust the volume of the ring or just have it light up. It works great.
