Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

the tabs are the key to fit! January 9, 2009 these diapers are wonderfully absorbent and the company's commitment to the environment matches my philosophy. the only reason why i give 4 stars and not 5 is that the tabs sometimes are not very stretchy. when they ARE really stretchy, the fit is perfect up to 13-14 pounds (my child has very chunky legs!). when the tabs were not stretchy leaks ensued!!! it was hit and miss which package had the really stretchy tabs, so we had to move on to stage 2 at around 13 pounds even tho stage 2 diapers were still a little bit for baby.
fabulous!!! January 9, 2009 these diapers are very good for babies with sensitive skin ... my little one has not had a single rash since we started using 7th gen diapers. they fit very well too. tabs are excellent and leakage hardly ever happens.
Seventh Generation diapers January 8, 2009 My son has very sensitive skin and I feel good about the choice I've made to use chlorine free, non-toxic diapers. Yes, they are more expensive than your traditional disposable diapers, but I know they're better for him. The only dislike is that they tended to leak when he was an infant(before solid food). Amazon has the best price, especially if you choose to have them delivered on a regular basis. I love having them delivered to my door and never having to make the emergency diaper run!
Generally work fine but some were defective; may not be as enviro friendly as you think January 7, 2009 Generally had no problems with these diapers, expect for one package the Velcro tabs were falling off. Emailed customer service (friendly) and they provided a refund for the single package, although it was a multiple email process and took almost more effort than it was worth.
One thing to note is that the brown color of diapers is actually a dye, which is kind of annoying for those thinking they were getting a less processed and more environmentally friendly product. These diapers are not biodegradable, so we have switched to Nature Babycare which are. They are available on amazon.com but do not come up when you search diapers which is odd.
Best Disposable Diapers Ever! January 7, 2009 These diapers are not only safe for baby and environmentaly friendly- they are flexable & comfy for baby too!
