Great for Single Player Gaming, but is Lacking for Multi-player fun August 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Video Game chair is a great buy, but a few things are lacking. The speakers are great! However, you get a slightly lower quality of music. Because you have to set up a small radio switch that allows you to send the sound to the gaming chair. The only cables are the ones on your game system and the cable to plug in the chair. I don't know what the other guy is talking about. This is a slight hassle to set up, but once set up it is worth it. Except for multi-player gaming. If you expected the music to come out of the tv for everyone else to hear, you thought wrong as I did. Instead, you have to turn the volume up so loud on the chair that it kills the person sitting in the chair! If you hook up your mp3 player or ipod to this thing (a cable is included to do this) the sound quality is astounding! It is great if you have to draw and you have good music to draw to. Or write! The chair is not quite as comfortable as it looks, but has better comfortability than the floor. It has a nice bar on the back of the seat to keep you from leaning back to far, which is useful. The headrest could be higher, but it is quite good to feel. Sadly, this chair does not do something I thought it would do. I've heard of chairs that rumble where your controller would making you feel the full of the game. Sadly, even though the description makes it sound like it does, it doesn't. :( A little heavy for travel, as well as packing cords can be frustrating. This is good to keep at home and for single-player action only. You can use this chair to have a comfortable seat for multi-player, but nothing else really works when you have more than 1 person. All in all, a GREAT buy. Any gamer or wannabe gamer would love this chair. A little pricy, but when you find it under the original $200, it's a GREAT deal. Expect to be satisfied AND dissapointed at the same time. But the positive is more than the negative. Your friend in gaming, CPU12 The Nintendo Freak Good Luck.
Works well but doesnt inprove gaming experience as I thought it would June 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The chair works very well. It has 2 speakers in the headrest and a sub built into the seat. It is not very comfortable and the cables arent long enough so you end up sitting right in front of the television.
