dont waste your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ December 10, 2008 i walked down stairs to the bathroom and back and it said i walked a tenth of a mile. this is after an accurate setup. not to mention it will reset in your pocket and get scratched.. you think they would realize that would happen to a product that you put in your pocket!?!?
Jury is still out September 30, 2008 I've had this pedometer over a week now and my biggest complaint is that the step count (which is the only feature I use at the moment) sometimes resets while in my pocket. I'm trying for 10k steps a day and often find that it's reset itself throughout the day. I like the compact size and it fits nicely into my front or back packet. I have yet to set up the strides for distance or calorie definitions.
we really like it July 16, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
i got one for my husband and we thought it was great. i read other reviews about the steps being off. we just didnt have that experience. in fact we had known distances that we monitored over a period of weeks and it was spot on in distance, with steps being off by just a couple but i have read about pedometers and they almost all do that because it takes a step or two before the pedometer detects that is is walking and not just movement. unfortunately ours got cracked on accident but i'm buying him another one.-- oh yeh, we did discover one thing if your pants are too tight it wont work.
Not Very Accurate June 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like the idea of this kind of pedometer - something to put in your pocket instead of on your belt - but I guess the technology just isn't quite there yet. The step count is consistently off. I find it very annoying to have paid $25 for a pedometer that doesn't accurately tell me how many steps I'm walking.
Pretty but useless May 15, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was very excited about this product until I bought it and tried it. The buttons do not work all the time and the unit resets throughout the day making it look like I only walked 200 steps. It is a shame that it doesn't work well, great idea, lousy execution. Don't waste your money. Sportline 303 Thin Q Pedometer (Green)
