great addition to Sunday school lessons March 24, 2008
When trying to figure out the details of Bible stories, it helps a lot to look at these images and maps of the place at the time the story was written. Reduces the boredom of what can be pretty dry lessons, to see what the writers may have seen. Four stars because the book is pretty slight, but what's there is very good.

This laminated fold-out map is a wonderful tool for comparsion of Biblical locations to present day geography and is easy to tuck inside your Bible or study reference for use. The maps are referenced to modern day and organized by Old Testament and New Testament time periods, with Paul's journeys given specific notice. Easy to read, color is used to designate tribes, areas, & countries within The Holy Land, proving increased ease of use.

This spiral-bound book contains 12 full-color Bible maps, each with a clear plastic overlay that shows modern-day cities and countries. If you wish to order Bible Map Transparencies for use on an overhead projector.......then this product is probably VERY good and possibly deserves MORE stars!!However, be aware that this item is NOT a calendar, or a book.......but 12 separate and indivdual transparencies! If you want the book format you will need to click on the words 'Spiral-bound' which will link you to the same product in book format!
