Helicoil to the rescue. May 16, 2008

I stripped out a threaded hole in one of the aluminum cylinder heads on my Pontiac Transport while replacing the cylinder head gaskets. I was able to repair the threads at a fraction of the cost of a replacement cylinder head.
The kit had everything I needed except for the tap drill, (which I already had). Simple to use and worked well.
