This newest addition to the Knockout family! This Pink Knockout has all of the characteristics that you have grown to love in its parent plant. It will mature into a tidy 3 inch by 3 inch winter-hardy shrub that is truly blackspot-resistant. Bright pink blooms will cover the shrub throughout the growing season into late fall. Its petals fall cleanly; never needs dead-heading and the blooms keep coming and coming. Unlike other roses, the Knockouts thrive in humid climates and requires only 3-4 hours of sun a day. It is dependable, forgiving and drought tolerant. No garden should be without this beautiful and easy to grow rose. You will receive one rose plant bare to semi-bare root.

This is a work-horse of a shrub rose. It will reliably bloom its heart out from late spring well into fall, and its thick foliage is highly disease resistant, so it requires no spraying. Personally, I prefer the softer, medium pink color of this rose to the regular Knockout color. As an added bonus, it has a mild, pleasant fragrance. It is thorny but then it is a rose, after all. One thing to mention is the size: in my central NJ garden this rose is about 3.5 feet by 3.5 feet and its only in its 2nd year. All indications are it can mature into a large shrub rose (at least 4 foot by 4 foot and probably larger) in good growing conditions. I don't vouch for this seller (they don't have any for sale right now anyway) but if you're looking for an easy-to-grow, attractive shrub rose for your landscape, it would be hard to go wrong with this one.
