I received this as a wedding gift at a shower, and have loved implementing the tradition of the red plate in our home. I give this to friends and loved ones for birthdays and weddings, and everyone always says the same things: "I love it!" "What a great idea!" "That's a special tradition we can't wait to start!". It is really fun and unique, and everyone seems to have appreciated it as much as I have. I run it through the dishwasher and it always comes out fine. Love this plate!
Great gift item November 19, 2008
I have one of these plates but did not get it until I was in my 50's. I use it multiple times/year and record what the occasion was for on the inside of the box (that way I can put the plate in the dishwasher). Recently I gave this as a wedding gift. Think of all the history that might be built around this plate!

I purchased two of these and one of the small heart-shaped plates. I like the larger original plates much better.
