Nice kit, but the bits are no where close to typical Milwaukee quality May 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very nice set, but as other reviewers have stated the drill bits are pretty weak. I have snapped 2 of them off using them in wood. I know that bits break, but this was just a little to soon and in soft material. If your going to buy this for the bits i would look elsewhere, but if your mainly going to use the tips its a great kit to have.
Quick lock May 17, 2008 This product has met all of my needs. It has what I need in one sinple bit case. I use this with my RAD attachment from Milwaukee when doing HVAC in close quaters. Most of my tools are Milwaukee because they last longer and are made for the long haul.
Great Value April 23, 2008 This is a very useful item to have and it is a great value. Excellent quality.
nice set up April 3, 2008 This is a nice set to have.It has a good combination of driver bits and drill bits. Nice case to through in the truck and have a little bit of everything.
Milwaukee bit set March 15, 2008 Pros: Excellent set. Has all the main things you would want in a bit set. Particularly nice (and often missing in other bit sets) are the extension and the 1/4" and 3/8" socket adapters. The quick-change head is nice if you use a regular drill instead of one that has the hex shank head. Also the case is very nice.
Cons: It would be nice to have more variety. Instead of 10 Phillips #2, give me some hex head bits. Also, I think this would be better without the drill bits (instead offer more variety like hex head and torx). If you are going to be drilling, get a full set of 28 or so drill bits. That way you can have one very complete set of fastener bits, and one very complete set of drill bits, instead of one that tries to do just a little of both.
My complaints are true of most bit sets. This is still a 5 star set.
